Good candidates for tattoo removal are those with medium-to-fair skin and tattoo(s) containing dark, but not dense, ink that is not too deep. Medium and fair skinned people react well because the laser can selectively target ink. For tattoos on a spot with good circulation (arms, chest, buttocks), individuals should see results fairly quickly. Areas with poor circulation (ankles, fingers) are a bit more of a challenge.
The process begins with a consultation. This is an opportunity for you to gain as much information as possible before beginning the process. During your consultation your technician will determine the cost, an estimation of the number of treatments, and answer any questions you may have. Depending on availability we can do a consultation and your first treatment on the same day.
Laser tattoo removal takes multiple sessions. The number of sessions depends on many factors, including, but not limited too: age of the tattoo, location of the tattoo, how the tattoo was applied and the number of colors used.
Complete removal of tattoos will typically take several treatments with each treatment helping the tattoo to fade.
